Lewis Schiff also serves as the Senior Managing Principal for Advanced Planning Group, where he leads a team of private wealth experts who develop custom financial solutions for high-net-worth clients globally.

Prior to founding Advanced Planning Group in 2007, Lewis Schiff was a founder of CEG Worldwide, a performance-coaching firm serving the high end financial advisor, based in New York and Silicon Valley. Lewis Schiff has also developed custom education programs for high profile financial firms such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity, E-Trade, TheStreet.com, ThomsonReuters and Intuit. Lewis Schiff was the founding editor of Worth Online, the electronic version of Worth magazine, which launched in 1996.

In 2001, hLewis Schiff co-wrote the book, The Armchair Millionaire: How to Build an Extraordinary Portfolio on an Ordinary Income (Simon and Schuster). Along with the publication of the book, Lewis Schiff was the Creator and Executive Producer of ArmchairMillionaire.com (co-developed by Intuit and iVillage) -- maintained a real money portfolio on the site.  Lewis Schiff sold The Armchair Millionaire to iVillage.com which subsequently went public and made history as the sixth highest NASDAQ IPO before being bought by NBC Universal in 2006.

In 2006, Lewis Schiff published The A to Z Money Book, his collected columns originally published on CNNMoney.com during the years 2002-2004.

He has been a contributor to Investment Advisor magazine, CNNMoney.com, and AdWeek, maintains a blog about the affluent for InvestmentAdvisor.com and Inc.com and appears frequently on TV as a wealth expert.

Lewis Schiff is a native New Yorker, the fourth generation of his family to live in Manhattan's Upper West Side. He lives there with his wife, Lynette Cortez, a creative executive at Victoria's Secret, and their son, Jacob.
