"Management expert Peter Schutz has spent his career transforming businesses. During his tenure as president and CEO of Porsche AG Worldwide from 1981-1988, the company's sales volume doubled, and its after-tax profits increased over tenfold. German-born but raised in Chicago, he began his business career as an engineer for Caterpillar Tractor, and later worked for Cummins Engine Company. In 1991, following his retirement from Porsche, he co-founded Harris & Schutz, Inc., a management consulting firm. In addition to his management consulting work, he also serves on a number of corporate boards.
